Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
This policy explains what Knowlegic collects when you visit knowlegic.com or subscribe to our newsletter, how that information is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. We keep data collection to what a small publication needs to run the site and understand its readership.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, Knowlegic and certain service providers may collect standard technical data, such as pages viewed, date and time of your visit, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site or link, and server-log information. Some analytics technologies are used only after you provide consent, as described in Section 3.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the site;
- understand how the site is used and which articles are read, so we can improve our content;
- send our newsletter to people who have subscribed;
- respond to messages you send us;
- display advertising (see section 3).
5. Services we rely on
We use Google Analytics (only after you consent, see section 3) for measurement, Vercel for site hosting and cookie-less performance analytics, and Resend for delivering our newsletter. We also use Google AdSense for advertising, though it is not yet active. These providers process data on our behalf as part of operating the site, under their own privacy terms.
6. How long we keep information
We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained according to our providers' standard retention periods.
7. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email, change your cookie choice at any time using the button in section 3, and email us at contact@knowlegic.com to ask what data we hold about you or to request its deletion.
8. Rights in the EEA and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Our lawful bases are your consent (for the newsletter and for Google Analytics) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You may withdraw consent at any time using the button in section 3 (this stops Google Analytics from loading on any future visit until you accept again), and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Rights for US residents
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@knowlegic.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
10. Rights under applicable Indian law
If you are in India, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including rights relating to access, correction, updating and deletion of your personal data, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. You may contact us at contact@knowlegic.com to exercise applicable rights.
11. Where your information is processed
Knowlegic is operated from India. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you visit from outside those countries, your information may therefore be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Children
Knowlegic is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted more prominently.
14. Contact us
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to contact@knowlegic.com or through our contact form.
